Well written and very impressive, this book would serve well as an ethics book for any religion or walk of life. I have purchased a copy for our Public Library as well as a personal copy, so that more people can have access to the useful, friendly, and humorous writing of this amazing lady. Extremely well done. If you ever heard Robin Wood speak, you will be able to hear her voice in the pages as she tackles issues such as "what is Perfect Love and Perfect Trust??" and how does one really live a Wiccan life. Frankly, this book is a must for all people, whether you are Pagan or not, having "ethics" issues or not (especially if you run a Coven or Circle -- the advice contained within and exercises are invaluable!) If one were to take out the Pagan referances, one would have one of the best books for anyone of any religion. When, Why, If... is written with humor and a converstaional style that is easy to follow, it is filled with anicdotes that everyone can relate to, and each chapter concludes with a series of self examination questions that are thought provoking.Book Review: An excellent discussion and developement of personal ethics

Robin Wood, well know illustrator and designer of the Robin Wood Tarot, shows us how to develope a method of ethical judgement to guide us through life and our practices. How do our (in)actions effect our own Karma, other living beings, the world community, and the Universe as a whole? That determines the right or wrong action to resolve an ethical dilemma. "When, Why...If" is a personal ethics workbook which guides us through this process of self discovery. It includes chapters on honesty, love, help, harm, sex, and will. Although it is designed by a Pagan teacher for Wiccans, Pagans, and New Agers it can be utilized by those of any spiritual path who are interested in defining, acknowledging, and evolving their own sense of ethics. This book goes beyond the concepts of good and bad set in stone, focusing on the uniqueness of any given situation. You will not find a list of "do" and "do not" in this text. You will find "why would you?" and "should you?". I definitely recommend this book, especially for those without a flesh and blood teacher.Book Review: Great Book For Everyone Pagan or Not!!!

This book gives a great overview on all aspects on life. It gives great advice and understanding about the morals and ethics of everday life. And to make it even better it also relates this morals to the magickal life as well. I think this book is great for pagans and non-pagans alike. It gives great insight on life. The author also has a great/unique writing style, i feel that im talking to a best friend!
