Book Reviews of When, Why ... IfBook Review: Simply the best book on ethics in the gendre Summary: 5 Stars
I was lucky enough to meet Robin and buy this book from her. I have used this book for teaching on many occasions, as it is thoughtful and laid out in a form that lends itself to lesson planning. I feel it should be manditory for anyone commiting to a pagan path. I re-read sections of it from time to time just for myself. I have found it an invaluable tool, personally and in counselling.
Book Review: The absolute best book on Ethics! Summary: 5 Stars
It don't matter if you are pagan or not, everyone should be reading this book. The author has written this book so well, even though she expressed in the end that she had no interest in writting, and each section is explained very well, in everyday situations and terms.
Ethical lessons on Love, Sex, Harm, Will, Honesty, Self. After reading this book you can not help but be a better person with a better understanding of yourself and others.
I highly recommend this book for those just starting on a Pagan path.
Book Review: Very good... Summary: 5 Stars
This was one of the first books I read when I first started with studying Wicca and Paganism. The study group I was part of ordered it and I remember we all remarked and commented on how good this book is. We may have had different ideas on intrepretations, part in turn due to we were part of different traditions. We certainly had some very good common ground to work from with this book, thoughts and ideas to consider.
Over the years, I've encountered those who've decided not to follow any code of ethics and those who've asked because some of the books out there, just don't cover the topic of Ethics well enough.
I highly recommend this book to anyone wanting a firm starting point and grounds from which to work their magical ethics and background from.
Book Review: When, Why ... If Summary: 4 Stars
This book has a lot of wisdom, it has put into words and made me think about what I already knew and just didn't understand
Book Review: Worth the effort Summary: 5 Stars
The way this book is presented really helps one think differently about the way you interact with others and helps you to do so in a more ethical manner. I have gone through the exercises twice (over a 7 year period) and each time has been a slightly different experience due to the passing of time. I had to re-order the book as I borrowed it out a couple of years ago and it never came back!
