Book Review: A Cool Psychologist and a Gay Detective
Summary: 4 Stars
This is the first title in Jonathan Kellerman's Alex Delaware series. I found the book to be of interest and enjoyed the read. I thought it was a little long and unlike some other reviewers, I didn't think there were too many characters. The story was a good one with our main character, Alex, getting way deep into a case that his detective friend, Milo, asked him to assist on. For a good part of the story Milo is absent and returns near the end as the story wraps up. I look forward to reading other titles in this series as they appear to be well-written and move along at a reasonable pace. I also look forward to seeing the professional relationship of Alex and Milo progress. Milo's life partner, Rick, is introduced in this volume and I am anxious to learn more about their relationship as well.
