"White Fang"
"White Fang" is about a wolf who finds himself praising humans as gods! His first god was an Indian called "Grey Beaver", who sells him to a man who uses him as a Pit dog. White Fang is half wolf, half dog, and is Fiercely loyal his god's will.
I think Jack London, the author, wanted to tell his readers that even a hardened lump of clay [as the author puts it] needs love aswell as us all. His instinct tells him to go back to the Wild, but his loyalty tells him to stay with his owners.
I liked the book because Jack London made me think about what we do as humans. It is well written with an interesting choice of words. I wanted to see what would happen to White Fang, so, I read until 11:15 at night to find out! I highly recommend this book.
