This book was so bad that it was actually painful to reach the end. After reading at the end that Kline took one writing course, everything made sense. The writing was completely all over the place. In the middle of discussing something, she would suddenly do a 180 and go back to discussing a different family. It was very distracting and it really was as if she just wrote whatever popped into her head with no regard to structure or logic. There was one main family that she talked about throughout most of the book, but it would've been better if she just devoted a chapter to them instead of constantly going back to them in the middle of stories about other clients.
I also couldn't believe it when she mentioned NUMEROUS times about wanting to charge clients for calling her to vent. If they're paying you thousands of dollars for your services, you can't spare 45 minutes to hear them vent about the nanny that YOU found for them? Give me a break. But of course when the situation did turn out well, she couldn't have patted herself on the back hard enough.
I wouldn't recommend this to anyone, other than as an example of bad writing and poor editing.
