Although this is technically a buddhist book, it does not preach at all, nor does it attempt to teach you buddhism. It is simply a buddhist monk telling various stories to help you through lifes difficulities e.g. anger, sickness, grief etc
I am not buddhist, nor do I ever intend to be, but this is my favourite book, which I continually purchase for friends and family for them to read and be helped from the book just as I have been. This too will pass is an incredible story to help you through lifes difficulites, the cow that cried, the little girl and her friend, if I had to name the best stories, I'd name nearly all of them.
If you have now or have ever had any difficulites in life, you need this book. It will not attempt to turn you buddhist!!

It doesn't matter if you are buddhist or not, this book is for everyone, you don't need to have too much intelectuality, is simple, funny enjoyable from the beggining till the end. Been short stories you can read one at time, but the real truth is..when you start, you cannot put it down.
