We should be taught this stuff at school. Essential reading for all those attractive, intelligent, "nice" women who give their all to the man they love and wonder why things didn't work out. Book Review: Sick of getting walked all over? Summary: 5 StarsThis book is fantastic for those women who from the minite they fall for a guy.... fall down that deep hole of pain and misery that usually ends in getting dumped! If you're ready to say 'goodbye' to disapointment and unkept promises, then this book is for you. If you're struggling to execute what your brain cells are telling you to do in a relationship, this book is an excellent reference. When you know your value, you can afford to follow your heart. When you're trying to figure out your worth, let your head do the thinking... this book will remind you how.
Book Review: What every woman needs to know - and put into practice!!! Summary: 5 StarsAn outstanding book which every woman should read, absorb & put into practice. My friends & colleagues laughed out loud when I bought this - for some extraordinary reason they consider me to be their resident 'expert' on matters of the heart - but now they too are reaping the benefits in our regular 'on the couch' coffee breaks. A no nonsense, well thought out, easy to read approach to life, love and relationships. Ignore the headline grabbing title, this is a well balanced book that isn't about 'men bashing' or 'manipulation' but is based on mutual respect, understanding and all those things that every woman wishes her mother had told her. At times I cringed inwardly and at others I giggled out loud as I recognised scenarios from my long and varied love life over the years - if only I knew then what I know now. Read it, enjoy it, use it and recommend it to others - you will not be disappointed. No prizes for guessing what my girl friends will be getting in their Christmas stockings this year. A true gem!
Book Review: Essential - don't leave home without it! Summary: 5 StarsThis is the first time i've written a review - that's how much i was impressed by this book! Having been brought up to be a nice girl and always being the one to give her time, efforts & energies - i now realise that putting yourself first isn't selfish - it's essential - the old cliche if you don't value yourself - why should others? rings true. In the past, i've always been the one to show I care first - make that special effort - but no more - now i'll let myself sit back & enjoy being wooed - without the feeling I don't deserve it. Truly a life changing book - BUY IT TODAY!!!!
Book Review: Essential Reading Summary: 5 StarsWow, I wish I had read this book about 10 years ago! The advice is so practical and Sherry Argov seems to instinctively have a grasp of those situations that every woman has found herself in. Even though is it a kind of 'self-help' book, the style is extremely no-nonsense. One thing I love is the helpful layout. Rather than pages of solid text you get bullet points and headings. Sherry names all the pitfalls that women fall into and makes us understand where we are going wrong by explaining the way guys view our behaviour. Sherry is constructive - if she tells us what NOT to do, she will always back it up by explaining what we SHOULD be doing instead. And the good news is that there is nothing that she recommends which seems unreasonable or difficult to achieve. In fact it all makes perfect clear sense. When I put this book down I felt an amazing amount of positivity. Sherry gives you the confidence to put all her tips into practice. And I'm looking forward to the results!
