Book Reviews of Why Men Love Bitches: From Doormat to Dreamgirl-A Woman's Guide to Holding Her Own in a Relationship

Book Review: Changed My Life
Summary: 5 Stars

After reading this book I got so angry with myself for being a "nice girl" or basically a pushover. I applied the advice in this book to my current relationship and had my boyfriend in tears to be with me by the end of 1 week! I have not only learned how to be loved by a guy, but I have also learned to love myself first. I don't NEED a man, but I WANT this one. With the help of this book I have discovered that if a man is worthy of me and if I feel we are good together, then I will know it is worth it to the both of us to work at the relationship in a way where we can both grow. I know Sherry's new book 'Why Men Marry Bitches' will probably come out in January, however I may not need to read it by then, because now my man is desperate to marry me asap!

Book Review: Glad to be a b****
Summary: 5 Stars

I don't usually write reviews, but this book has helped me an awful lot. It's for us nice, romantic girls who have trouble holding our own in a relationship. Not only does the author tell us what we're doing wrong, she also backs it up with evidence and gives us very useful, practical advice. Every girl should own this book, it's not about being pushy and aggressive but about being a strong and capable woman.

Book Review: A guide to equality, for the downtrodden.
Summary: 5 Stars

Though I was not sure if all the advice was meant to be taken totally seriously? or I suspect tongue in cheek (I wouldn't treat my dog the way some of the book advised). But it gave some very pertinent and humorous advice, on the many ways women accept a less than equal relationship with men, even being treated badly. I have been married for some time, but I found the advice invaluable, in dealing with many relationships, especially with hubby.
The book appeared to be well researched, It certainly struck a chord with me, made me look at the way I perhaps invite being a doormat, and best of all offers advice on how to combat this behaviour, and CHANGE. Stand up for yourself and give as good as you get! is the main message.
I would certainly recommend this book, to all single girls, and women in a relationship, it was money well spent, and would be useful to all but the most bolshy ladies I know.

Book Review: Good, practical advice
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought this book a year back and have recommended it to all my friends. Instead of having to rely on them all the time, I can turn to this book when I'm feeling taken for granted by my man. It offers pratical advice on focusing on yourself rather than on anyone else, especially the man on your life and this is the single most important thing women forget to do.It's extremely easy to get caught up in a relationship and make a man the be all and end all of your life, a mistake I have made pretty often by simply getting carried away. This book just reminds you to re-focus and concentrate on your life just as men concentrate on theirs.
In fact, my man found it in my room and read bits of it (I wish he hadn't)and he told me I should follow the steps in here because he totally agreed that men do love bitches. Hmm...!

Book Review: Empowering!
Summary: 5 Stars

The information inside of this book is good to know for women who have been, to put it nicely, treated badly in the past. Why the title of the book might be a little off-putting, it is certainly empowering once you get to reading it. Packed inside is vital information to get you out of terrible realtionships and onto bigger and better things.

What is so good about this book is that it doesn't hold back. Also, it's really not about being an uber-bitch, it's about how to keep that man enticed and wanting more.

If you are looking for a good book that will help you either get the relationship you want or with your current one, this is a good start. Other good books that can help with this are: "Don't Call That Man" and "Man Magnet".
