This book does what every piece of bad chick lit does - it promises one thing, then completely contradicts itself by giving us another. It says 'Why men like women who stand up for themselves' but then doesn't really tell you to stand up for yourself. Instead, it tells you to run around in circles playing games; making the man chase you. This serves only to make us end up with guys willing to chase, which are usually not the ones we want chasing us to begin with. Even if something isn't bothering you or if things are going along well, you should play a game by making it seem like it is bothering you or things aren't going well, to keep the guy on his toes and make him still want you. Yuck! This isn't about becoming a strong woman; it's about becoming weak, manipulative pain. This book will make you become exactly what you don't want to be - the woman guys love to sleep with and dump the next day. For some fantastic insight into how to be in the kind of relationship you want to be in and lots of insight into exactly how a guy thinks and interprets our actions, read "God Is a Woman: Dating Disasters." It is excellent. Incidentally, it is also by a comedian and much funnier than this so-called 'hilarious' book, which this isn't.

I read this book on hol last summer and I cudn't put it down. I found its advice indispensible. I put what it said into action and found guys were chasing me and doing all the texting and ringing. Some people suggest the book is all about chasing and playing pointless games, but if you look from an evolutionary point of view, many men feel the need to chase a potential female partner; and it is all about the chase and without that they lose interest. Obviously all men are not like this but I have certainly had more success in meeting great guys following the advice of the book. I absolutley recommend this book to every woman out there, single or not, everyone can learn something from this!Book Review: Highly recommended to young women everywhere

Once you have read this book you'll beat yourself up asking yourself the following questions;
1. Why didn't anyone give me this book when I was 18?
2. What a total idiot I've been thinking I knew it all?
3. Never ever again.....
This book is remarkable! It comes as a great comfort to me that I am not the only one that has made silly decisions in the past, just to retain a relationship.
This book gives you the tools to assert yourself in any relationship. I believe the key message in this book is not only that it defines what men look for in a woman but recognises that at some deep level most of us women at some point have suffered or suffer from low self-esteem which manifest itself to aquire irrational behaviour or decisions making.
Read this book before venturing into a new relationship and if you are in a relationship read this book and assert yourself to make the right decisions!!

The book "Why Men Love Bitches..." could be considered the follow-up book to "Women Who Love Too Much." If you could relate to the book WWLTM but were left wondering what the alternate behaviours should be; then this book might be your answer.
Well written, intelligent, humourous and best of all - practical and realistic!

I had just come out of an engagement and I had been making so many stupid mistakes in relationships. I don't have a good record - a failed marriage and engagement, all before 28 years old!
But I picked this particular book up - partly because the title jumped out at me, and partly because I WAS being to nice to these unworthy guys!
I read it over and once again and it hit me - Men Really Do Love Bitches! Well, a real man does anyway.
Why should us women be bloody doormats for the rest of our natural anyway? Who are these clowns anyway?
It doesn't matter about your past, your track record, etc - the time is now! If you are fed up with being made a monkey out of or you are putting in more than you are getting out of your relationship this is so the book for you! I love it so much that I'm getting her sequel - Why Men Marry Bitches!
