Book Review: A really steamy hot novel

Morgan O'Malley is the hostess of a cable sex talk show and she has seen and heard a lot of things, but she never met someone like Master J, whom she wants to interview for an upcoming special show about BDSM. Unfortunately, during their first meeting Morgan discovers that her stalker, the reason why she fled from L.A, followed her the whole way to Houston. Master J. aka Jack takes over the situation and saves her. He brings her to his home to keep her safe while he tries to find out who is threatening her life. But he doesn't do it for nothing because he has his own agenda where comes to Morgan. He plans to introduce her to the world of domination and submission, as well as seeks to get revenge for a past betrayal. Will Jack and Morgan realize that there is something very special between them? And will Jack discover that there is something more important than revenge?
WICKED TIES grabbed this reader's interest from the first page and she couldn't stop reading till she reached the end. She was really sorry when the story ended because it's one of the stories that you don't want to end.
The whole plot idea was fantastic, the reader gets so involved in the story and you can hardly wait to see what happens next, because the story is not predictable. Till the end you are wondering who is really the stalker or if Jack will get over his betrayal and be able again to love.
The characters are so great; they are realistic, lovable and just lovable, no matter if it is the hero and the heroine or the secondary characters. WICKED TIES is a very emotional book with characters to believable that readers can easily follow their inner struggles and understand the conflicts they have to overcome.
In the opinion of the reader, WICKED TIES is a master of BDSM erotic romance because the book perfectly shows the trust, which is so important in a BDSM relationship.
WICKED TIES is a wickedly hot book with great love scenes and not to forget a very hot Ménage scene.
This reviewer can highly recommend this book to everyone who loves hot and sensual stories. Ms. Black is an author you definitely want to keep an eye on. This reader really hopes that there will be a sequel, because there are some very interesting secondary characters.

Wicked Ties is the book that started it all for me. Well, at least got me started reading erotic romance. Jack Cole is ultimate fantasy fodder and my favorite Dominant/alpha hero. Its also the first book in the Wicked Lovers series.
Morgan meets Jack through a contact at work, and arranges to meet him in hopes of getting him to be a guest on her talk show "Turned On". He's a well-known Dominant, and although she doesn't want to be - she can't help being intrigued and more than a little excited. Unfortunately, she has a pretty serious stalker who is determined that if he can't have her, no one will. So Jack comes through as her hero, saves her from getting shot, and takes her somewhere that her stalker will never find her.
Jack is out for revenge - and Morgan is the perfect tool. He's got it all planned out, except the part where he's not only attracted to Morgan, but actually LIKES her. The shootout with the stalker just makes his plan that much easier, while giving him unlimited access to Morgan night and day. And Jack is no fool - he's not going to let this opportunity pass him by. He plans to show Morgan just what it means to submit to a "master". But along the way, both Jack's and Morgan's plans get messed up by something they never saw coming - love.
Wicked Ties is my idea of the perfect contemporary erotic romance. All the elements fit together to create a story that you can't put down. Shayla Black is without a doubt the master (mistress? lol) of erotic, emotionally intense love scenes. The sexual tension had my heart pounding, the pacing is just right, and the dialog is fabulous. The banter between these two, and between Jack and his partner Deke, is hilarious. And let me just say - no one can talk dirty like Jack Cole. His sexy Cajun drawl just makes it that much better.
Shayla Black does emotion like no one else, and all the little details just work together seamlessly. I LOVE to read, and this is one of my favorite genres, but if I was stranded on a desert island and could have only one erotic romance - this would be it.
