Book Review: Excellent Book

This was my first book by Shayla Black and it definitely did not disappoint me! This has got to be one of the best erotic novels I have read. The story line is great, her writing provides excellent imagery. I read this book in 3 sittings and had I started on a weekend - I probably would have read it all in one day. I am looking to buy more of her books either under the Shayla Black name or the Shelley Bradley name. I look forward to the release of Decadent.Book Review: For fans of Shannon McKenna, Jaid Black and Lora Leigh.

Hot! Hot! Hot! Shayla Black is an author to watch, with her steamy, suspense filled plot you'll be hooked from the 1st chapter, just make sure you've got a bucket of water on hand to cool you down. Morgan O'Malley's under threat from a stalker and has come to Houston to hide out by posing as the fiancé of her secret half-brother Brandon. This only serves to put her under the notice of Jack Cole who's determined to revenge himself against Brandon by stealing his woman. Incognito he seeks her out online posing as a dominant who's looking for a sexual relationship with her, and he intrigues her so much by his reading of her sexual needs that she agrees to meet him, only to nearly fall victim to a bullet. Jack appoints himself as her bodyguard, but finds that he's being driven by more than the need for vengeance. Jack is as alpha as they come and is about to teach Morgan how good it can be to completely bend to someone else's will, but don't worry, Morgan's no pushover and the only place she'll take orders is in the bedroom. All I can say is...OH. MY. FREAKING. GOD!! This book was not only hot, but the characters were so well developed you could practically feel and see what they felt and saw.
Nothing I hate worse than a sexy book with no plot. Well, this read certainly does NOT fall into that category.
Shayla is not only a gifted writer, but an awesome colleague. You GO, woman!
