Book Review: A fun book to read

Wifey is about a woman who is a housewife who has her moment of sexual awakening the morning a biker pulls up to her house outside her window. She realizes how bored she is with her marriage and their sex-life. She steps outside her boundaries and has to deal with the consequences of that.
I really love this book. Reading Judy Blumes books is like talking to an old friend. She has a very intimate style of writing that I love. It's as if she's talking to the reader, sharing deep secrets like a good friend would. She doesn't mince words, but gets straight to the point. Her characters are very well developed and easy for me to relate too. They are very human, both the good and the bad qualities that are part of human nature that so many authors gloss over. I don't know how else to describe it. I've read it a quite a few times. It's just one of those books that I could read over and over again. The main character is so real to me. I love the humaness of this book. Give it a try. I notice that people either like or hate it. It's one of those books that you definitely have to have a sense of humor while reading it. It's not preachy, it's quite funny in some parts. But what I love is how the characters are so true to life. The characters don't pretend or even try to be better than you are, they are simply human. Smart Women by Judy Blume is also very good, but this is my favorite.
