Book Review: An Instant Favorite for my 3 Year Old
Summary: 5 Stars
It took one reading of this book for it to become nightly "required reading" by my 3 year old son. Very quickly, he was differentiating an Oryx from a Gazelle and a Skink from a Lizard... In a recent trip to the zoo, he knew many of the animals by sight simply based of his experience with this book.
The very last page is a dedication poem to Theodore Seuss Geisel... and each time, he turns to me and says "Mommy, that's Dr. Seuss!".
Very captivating book that can be read over and over again without getting old for kids and grown ups alike. Illustrations are creative and writing has a good pace that makes the book go fast, much like something Dr. Seuss himself would have written.
