Wow! I just finished this book and it is really something. A real tour de force! It is a gripping thriller and yet it is also quite intellectual - and amusing. The chapters alternate between Holmes' voice and Wilde's (with an epilogue in Lillie Langtry's voice). An odd premise but it totally works, with Holmes and Wilde combining their talents in New York City in foiling a plot to slander Grover Cleveland -- with an unexpected twist at the end. I missed a lot of sleep because I could not put the book down. I don't know how Yelesiyevich did it. This book would be enjoyable for anyone who enjoys a smart mystery, not just Holmes and Wilde fans. I can't wait to see this made into a film!
