Book Review: Best piece of reading on Winsock sofar!
Summary: 5 Stars
This book covers the use of socket programming in the easiest way I have ever seen. It is very easy to read and navigate. Each time a new function / method is introduced it is described using an example giving the reader the chance to see the theory in practice clearing any kind of uncertainties and answering any questions the reader may have.Both TCP/IP and UDP are described in this book which gives the reader the oppotunity to learn about both and better decide which type of protocol to use. Even without having read the book from cover to cover the user is able to design and implement clients and servers in matter of minutes.
I can certainly suggest this book to anyone starting programming Winsock for the first time. It surely helped me in my carrier as B.Sc. E.E. programming Winsock and Win32 applications.
