Book Reviews of Wisdom From An Empty MindBook Review: Jewels on each page Summary: 5 StarsAn amazing little book. I bought if because it was on the recommended reading list on [...]. I experienced a great shift after reading Tolle's A New Earth, and this book has reinforced and shed light in new ways on the same spiritual truth that all teachings point to. I especially like the beginning of the book, particularly the page on "Non-Doing." Love it!
Book Review: Been there done that Summary: 2 StarsIf you're familiar with several people in the self-help field, you'll find very little new material here.
Book Review: "Slow down, you missed your life" Summary: 5 StarsWisdom from an Empty Mind touches all aspects of humanity in ways where the rest of the world falls short. Jacob and Erik are able to put into words an amazing compilation of short, but not too short, literary journeys into the human spirit, mind and body. By using this book as a vessel of explanation, the reader begins to realize that nothing needs explaining. Jacob and Erik hold the Earth in their fingertips, and every being should thank them for the opportunity they create as we try to find ourselves and our neighbors in a life that has just begun.
Book Review: A Must-Read Packed with Spiritual Insight Summary: 5 StarsAs a writer of spiritual-based material myself, I am familiar with the difficulty of presenting this kind of information in a way that is insightful, truthful, clear, easy to understand, and practical to the experience of the reader. Jacob Liberman has accomplished this in his book, Wisdom from an Empty Mind. Like a treasure chest filled with precious currency, gold and gems, his book is filled with concise stories that convey the richness of the spiritual principles he is sharing. For myself, I learned the value of living in the present because I discovered it was a `gifted' moment in my life. Put another way, when a person directs his or her conscious attention into the future, or ties it to past events, happiness is lost. In other words, it is impossible to experience emotional unhappiness when the mind and heart are focused in the now for that is, indeed, the only instant a person has any control over anyway. Jacob Lieberman, and his son, Erik, show how the reader can become spiritually centered and carry this awareness with him or herself through daily life. This is a task that is not easy in a world that appears ever more distracting and complex. Therefore, it is of immense value because it teaches the reader, in a highly engaging and entertaining manner, how to be in touch with the divinity within each one of us. In addition, the book can be read cover-to-cover or may simply be opened at random. I particularly like this second approach. However, regardless of the page, the beauty of the words and ideas is alive with meaning. I have already purchased several copies for family and friends and recommend this book most highly to anyone who reads it. It has already made perfect birthday and holiday gifts. (I only wish I had written it myself!) But, in any case, I feel I am a better person for reading it. I know that it will be equally beneficial to you and your loved ones this holiday season--and all the year through--because it is a gift that keeps on giving.
Book Review: Peace Summary: 5 StarsJacob Liberman, I must express that the sensual, effortless, inert, healing power your words posess are a beautiful testimonial to the Life and spirit of pure humanity.Inside this breathing book, I am drawn into the knowing instinctualism that has most recently been uncovered, though always present. I identify and relish in the "Light" of "Eye". Erik, I can feel you accutely across the pages as I blossom and brighten while reading every word. The clarity and integrity that your father and you have shared so completely with me, and with all others, is honest, is spirit-ful, is clairvoyant. And perhaps most importantly, is essential. I know that in my heart I continue to embellish and revel in each new day, in every present moment, and in the Light that I shine, and therefore thank you deeply for this work of art. my Love, Erik... and your wonderful father Jacob, I commend you
