Book Review: A whole bevy of well-drawn characters
Summary: 5 Stars
Kim Strickland has written a funny and often surprisingly touching tale of getting what you think you want. As a writer myself, I'm struck by her ability to manage multiple story lines so the reader is never lost. Each character is unique and fully fleshed out. The dialogue and settings are true to life. I had a great time reading this; although it qualifies as chick lit, I think it's better than what passes for that genre much of the time. Kim is an engaging writer with a quick wit. When I picked up WISH CLUB, it was all that I wished for.
