Book Review: A Disappointment

For all the hype over this "untold" origin story, I found it to be a let down. This is not a Wolverine story. It is a gothic horror/romance that actually raises more questions than it answers. To me, the character in this tale seems completely disconnected from the comic character as we know him. If you're looking for insights into Wolverine, you won't find them here.Yes, the art is good, and the story does throw in a few twists, but ultimately I found it to be one big downer. In the end, nothing is really resolved, character and plot threads are left dangling, and no one ends up happy. When I finished reading, I felt depressed and unenlightened. That's why I can't really recommend it.
