Book Review: *LOVE* it!!! A real treasure trove!

I cannot recommend this book enough! For anyone who has illness or chronic health issues, or PMS. Or has had any type of abuse (including verbal!) or sadness in their life. Or has trouble with doctors. Or for *any and all women*...I consider this a must-read. I felt like a fish out of water and this book is my ocean - once thrown into it, I just couldn't get enough. It is a big thick book full of info, but an easy read in that you eat up the pages one after the other. I haven't read a book in years, but I read this one in about two weeks - and I'm a busy mom in the middle of moving. Silly me - I thought the first chapter or two would be boring, and was wanting to get right into the middle parts. Was I wrong! Those first few chapters had me griped to the book, and are still helping to change my life. You should see my copy of this book. I have never underlined and starred so many phrases and paragraphs in any book I have ever read. And I keep re-reading them. This is the "therapy" I have been so badly needing. PLEASE READ THIS BOOK! I am usually not pushy, but I just swear by this book. I have had health issues ever since I had epstein barr virus that doctors are doing anything about. And PMS that is getting worse month after month,year after year...This book is helping me to help myself (and look for a better doctor). And it validtes the things I have been feeling for years, yet wouldn't trust myself enough to fully accept and believe. Well, now a professional has validated it all for me - and I seemed to have needed that. It's like while reading this book I suddenly was able to give myself permission to start trusting myself again, and listening to myself. I needed that more than I can express. Doctors in the past years have made me start doubting myself and my body, and took away my hope. But I am on my way to loving myself again, and loving being a woman again - something that I have not felt in years. ***Dr. Northrup, I thank you from the bottom of my heart, and the fullness of my soul! THANK YOU! Your book is truly a gift!***
