Book Reviews of WonderplayBook Review: A great resource book Summary: 5 StarsWonderplay is a great resource book I have used at home with my own children as well as with the toddlers I take care of at the daycare center I work at. I use some of the ideas in the book to fit into my curriculum and it has been very helpful.
Book Review: Lots of Ideas & Fun For little ones! Summary: 5 StarsI recently bought this book to find new games to play with my 16 month old son, as an alternative to TV. It has been wonderful! Not only do we use the one year old section, sometimes I find things in the sections for younger or older children as well. I am looking forward to the arrival of my second child in October so I can try some of the activities for infants with him/her.
Book Review: A Little Disappointing Summary: 3 StarsI was disappointed to see that the chapters in this book ended with 3 year olds. I thought 4 year olds would be included in the preschool category. I certainly consider my four year old a preschooler. I also consider her a little advanced for the 3 year old activities. My 1 year old son has enjoyed many of the activities listed in the toddler sections though
Book Review: Wonderful Wonderplay Summary: 5 StarsThis is a wonderful book. I received it as a gift from an expectant mothers' group I belonged to, from a friend who had received it from someone else. It's easy to read in small sections, which is about all I can manage to do with taking care of the baby. The authors really understand about babies and what they like to do and to play with. I can't wait to give it to someone else so I can share what a treasure this book is.
Book Review: Easy to read, USEFUL! Summary: 5 StarsI really USE this book. All the time, with both of my twins. It is chock full of suggestions, hints, games, songs, and other stuff that the babies really seem to like. I'm recommending it to all the other moms I know.
