This is a wonderful book. It is probably the most useful book on woodturning and techniques that I've purchased. There are no assumptions made, and the reader is taken through the various stages of development, from initial thoughts to completion, with clear and easy to understand text and diagrams/photographs. I was able to create a number of segmented bowls using plans from the book and this gave me the confidence to create my own designs. Particularly helpful are the sections on creating the key focus area and the gallery is truly inspirational.
