I wasn't sure which Word 2003 book to buy because there are a lot to choose form. So I checked around to see which author could help me the best. No contest. I had no idea how many awesome computer books Dan Gooken had written! The best new thing about Word 2003 has to be what you can do with smart tag now. I got a promotion with added responsibility after updating several company-wide manuals and procedural handbooks, thanks to "Word 2003 for Dummies" because this book helped me construct elaborate and professional-looking documents. I was able to teach myself how to insert a table of contents and an index within about an hour, and I was also able to construct documents with different headers and footers pertaining to specific units. Being a total dummy about computers, I bought this book so I could learn to use the Word program included on it. It's just wonderful. You can go page by page for a testbook-lesson esperience, or just look up what you need to do in the index. I would buy this book again if this one were destroyed. I recommend it to you.
