For the first time I got to read this absolutely astounding masterpiece, I got thrilled and enchanted by the most beautiful language, descriptions that make you see the set and actions before your eyes, and of course this consuming crazy passion which entwines both main characters. Emily Bronte succeed not only in creating a most touching, and yet horrifying love story, which can only be compared to Phantom by Susan Kay,but also managed to make it a Gothic tale with symbolism and double meaning all around. This is a book to be read many times, and understood deeply. I was 16 when I've read it for the first time, and since then I reread it for countless number of times, and each time I discovered something new. It helped me to grow emotionally. In this story, "physical" true love is lifted above our world, ad turned into something more spiritual. The bond between heathcliff and Cathy was so strong that it conquered death. A greatest love story of all time. A must-read for anyone.Book Review: IT WAS BORING AND SUCKED....

I had to read this book for my high school English class. Although I took the easy way out and read the "Cliffs Notes", I found them absolutely enchanting. I later took time to read the book for myself. Bronte uses such magical words and compellingly tragic sentences to blend this book into a masterpiece of Victorian Literature. Through Heathcliff and Catherine she proves that hate, no matter how strong, will always be defeated by love in the end.Book Review: Wuthering Heights is truly a great British novel.

Wuthering Heights is a tragic tale of lost love, rage between men, and the sorrow caused by broken hearts. Its author, Emily Bronte, led a reclusive and private life, much of which is revealed through the events and characters of the novel. I feel that it rightly belongs among the great novels of British Literature, due to the controversy and interest it caused upon its publication.
