Book Review: Xenosaga II: Enter a wonderfull RPG
Summary: 5 Stars

The story is set in the future as you take on the role of Sion, together with Canaan some sort of advanced android you'll take command of a monstrous Mecha. What starts of as a simple mission, soon unravels in what will be known as the beginning of the war over the Y-data.

The gameplay is inventive as it takes the turnbased fighting used in games like Final Fantasy, but takes it to a new level.
Ennemies have 3 levels where you can hit them (high, mid, low).
The trick is to find the ennemies weak spot using 2 hit combos, to break it's defense end then finish him off with down or air moves which allow your fellow mates to link up with their own combos.
Of course you have a whole list of skill moves and ether skills.
Magic for curing, status effects and massive destuctive moves.

The gamepace is what worried me a bit. Even though the story is very interesting, it can take up to 30 minutes sometimes before you can actually go ahead and play. This can get pretty boring if you just want to move on.

Overall I'd say this is a stunning looking agme, with strong story and solid gameplay. Just a bit a bummer that the pace is sometimes too slow.
