I was VERY DISSAPPOINTED witht his book. I thought it would be much more informative, medically. It is more of a cutesy "coffee table " book, with cute little drawings and healthy recipes. It was written with a sense of humor, so I guess Dr. Oz has the bedside manner, but it didn't enlighten me on any of the medical details I was looking for. I would say the Merk Manual is MUCH more informative for my personal needs.
