It explains how our emotions effect our happiness and how our happiness effects our health.
Book Review: I healed my body and life

I have been using Louise's methods for several years. At first I used it for healing my body and when the body was fully functioning, also my life started to heal, and change. The first step was to start loving myself and forgive the others, everything, even the biggest offences. This made me (and them) free. I applied positive thought to my ailments exactly as Louise wrote in her book and it worked! Now, the difficult step was to make up my own positive thoughts in order not only to heal but to improve my life. And this is what is happening! It's an everyday work, but it gets easier with practice. At first it's necessary to force the mind to produce positive thoughts just on the linguistic level, but keep going and they will become your nature. It's just amazing, please read on ...

Book Review: A Very, Very Dangerous Book

Now whilst the author cannot be certain of the mental state of those who read this book, by its very nature it is targeted at those who are 'crying out' for help in any form. The content of the book is positioned as being a cure. It certainly isn't. By the very nature of targeting those who most need help it raises levels of belief in the reader to a critically dangerous level. Don't read it if you are terminally ill, as in the case of a now deceased friend of my wife. It gives false hope and makes a misery for those close to that person in their final months of living. If I could have given this a zero star rating I would have. Reading the mumbo-jumbo nonsense in this book will cause more grief to the reader and those around them than anything else I can think of. I agree with another poster - if I could give this book ZERO stars, I would.
My mother has cancer, and reading this book which says that she brought this vial illness upon herself is just despicable. What on earth gives the author of this book the right to tell people who are dying of cancer and other terminal illnesses that they did it to themselves????
This book isn't just mumbo-jumbo, it's a smug, self-centred, holier-than-thou piece of fictional rubbish which tells the reader they are a bad, bad person and their illness and any other problems they have in their life is their well-deserved punishment.
That's not mumbo-jumbo, that's extremely dangerous claptrap that will only serve to hurt those people who need help the most.
PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS DESPICABLE BOOK.

if you are looking for a way to heal yourself and understand why you have gone through what you have gone through in your life then this is the book to buy. Louise L Hay helps you to heal yourself at your own pace and also explains that there is always a reason deep down for what ever illness or pain that you are experiencing. A Fantastic book and highly recommended.
