In a world of cliches and over-promoted books, this remarkable book by Louise Hay shows every likelihood of being in print a hundred years from now. It continues to sell based on the ultimate of endorsements: word-of-mouth. I was given the book originally by a friend in 1989. I grew to treasure it, and subsequently repaid the compliment by giving it to others. It has helped me to see the world in a different way.Book Review: Live changing

After suffering over 30 years with mood swings and on/ off depression,I was reconmended this book by an alternative health specailist. It took me nearly a year, before I could read/accept/understand any part of this book,but when I did, ,it changed my life.I move forward all the time.Even when I slip or slide ,I land on a cusion ,that I never had before.I thought I was going daft,but Louise help me to see ,I was just abit confused and mis-guided.Thank-you Louise.Book Review: The most powerful book I have ever read

As someone who's early life started out similarly to Louise's, I was immediately drawn to this book. It has changed my life in ways I had only dreamt of and that of some of my friends. I now know and understand myself and am coming to terms with my past, my life gets better every day. I cannot recommend this book highly enough to anyone, whatever their problem or pain maybe. This audio cassette, like the book, is very interesting and eye opening to learning about the way we feel about ourselves. The cassette is excellent as you hear the author, Louise, who has a pleasant and relaxing voice, read the book. The subjects include Affirmations, Loving Yourself, prosperity, mirror work. The tape has many exercises which enable you to learn more about the way you do actually feel about yourself....very clever. If you are prepared to do some mental work, then this book is a very good source. I it is one of my favourite all time books, very inspirational indeed....and have also bought more of her work. I read cover to cover quite quickly, having borrowed the book from a friend. I now must have my own copy, and re do the excercises when I can feel negativity creeping in. I now fully understand that we manifest our thoughts, and there fore to live a postive life must think as well as be posative. This book has turned my life. Very inspiring, if one can get over the americanisms. I find myself quoting it all the time.
