Book Reviews of Your Present: A Half Hour of PeaceBook Review: Simply the Best ... Summary: 5 StarsHaving a collection of meditational CD's that are inspiring is woderful...then encountering the BEST (from a recommendation of a special friend) now THAT is what this CD is all about !
Book Review: Stress Relief CD Summary: 4 StarsGood guided meditation, which is very relaxing. I find that I very often drop off to sleep while listening to this CD.
Book Review: Fast Asleep! Summary: 5 StarsI originally bought this CD to try to relax during the day while my son takes his nap. I quickly saw that it puts me right to sleep. Now I listen to it to fall asleep at night. My husband very sweetly indulges me in this. I fall asleep before the CD even finishes! This is wonderful. I've long had such a difficult time getting to sleep and this has worked fantastically. If using during the day you can choose to feel refreshed and alert at the finish of the recording. Either way this is a great CD!!!
Book Review: ULTRA RELAXING Summary: 5 StarsI had to listen to this cd three times before I could get through the whole thing without falling asleep, but that's a good thing! The woman's voice is so soothing and relaxing as well as the music. She guides you through an imagery of being on a beautiful beach. I use some of the things I've learned from this meditation during the day when I am awake. For example she says when unnecessary thoughts come up to picture them floating away down a stream. It really works and helps center you again. I bought one for myself and am back to purchase three more for Xmas gifts.
Book Review: Pleasant voice, efficient relaxation Summary: 5 StarsI found susie mantell's voice such a lovely soothing voice tha I would recommend the CD just for her voice! Her technique is quite efficient too. You will really relax during her half hour which she calls your present[privileged time to spend with yourself for yurself]. This CD is also a present, a gift to yourself if you buy it. It will create the desired effect and promote healing.
I like especially when she speak of a bridge to which you come; she gives you the choice to cross it now or later. So much of my life looks like a road reaching a bridge that it is a very speial proposition to me to consider crossing the bridge!
At least cross the bridge to acquire this lovely CD and spend so many relaxing half hours that you'll find really pleasant.
