Book Reviews of You've Been WarnedBook Review: Major disappointment!! Summary: 1 Stars
In general I like most of what Patterson writes. He laid an egg this time. From it's supernatural undertones to generally unlikeable characters this was a waste of time. Fortunately it was a quick read and not much time was committed. I kept wanting the plot to have more substance and head off in an exciting direction. However it was a let down. It was a page turner but in the end it didn't deliver. Hopefully his next will be a more compelling read.
Book Review: Oh, man!! Summary: 5 Stars
Ok, granted, it starts out a little slow. But I guarantee that once you get past the first ten or so chapters, you are hooked. From chapters 40 all the way to the end, I was stuck--glued. James Patterson, we salute you on another fine piece of reading!!
Bravo Zulu!!
Book Review: One of the best James Patterson Novels Summary: 5 Stars
I loved this book. It has you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end. Kristin is a mental case, and you never know if what she is seeing is really happening, or in her mind. Don't listen to the negative reviews, this is one of the best James Patterson novels in a long time!!!
Book Review: REALLY SCARY Summary: 5 Stars
I found this to be be one scary book. I almost finished it last night. I couldn't though because it was dark. I am a huge fan of Koontz and this read is truly in competition with Koontz's most terrifying. I was sorry to see some of the not so great reviews because I loved the storyline, cast and pace of it. Better read during the daylight.
Book Review: STAY AWAY FROM THIS BOOK - YOU'VE BEEN WARNED! Summary: 1 Stars
This is by far the worst book I've ever ready by any author on any subject. I kept reading it, slightly curious about the strange occurrences that kept happening to the main character, hoping the ending would be a good payoff for having to slog through hours of boring and cliche' material, only to be left completely unsatisfied with a ridiculous ending that was little better than "and then she woke up. It had all been a dream."
This book was so bad I threw it in the trash when I was done (even though I had the hardcover). I refuse to sell it or re-gift it - one less copy in circulation is my gift to the world.
YOU'VE BEEN WARNED.
