Book Reviews of Zen GuitarBook Review: Conquer self-doubt about your playing Summary: 5 Stars
I get something out of this book everytime I read it. What I "got" this last time is an understanding and appreciation for my own playing. It has really helped me to silence those negative and overly critical thoughts that plague so many aspiring musicians.
Book Review: Deceptively simple and brief while deeply insightful Summary: 4 Stars
You'll want to stop yourself from reading Zen Guitar too quickly. It's brevity results from Philip Toshio Sudo's economical, conversational writing style. Wouldn't it be nice if all guitar players could exercise self-control without squelching the sonorous inner voice? So if you get carried away; you'll just have to read the book twice. It's even better the second time around.
Book Review: Excellent book for non-guitar players as well. Summary: 5 Stars
As a keyboard player I was still drawn to this book. Although it does concentrate on guitar playing, the lessons learned throughout can be applied to any musical instrument. I highly recommend the book.

Book Review: Excellent guide Summary: 5 Stars
This book won't tell you how to play guitar, or how to change your playing to make you a better guitar player, but it will tell you how to change your thinking to set those other steps in motion. This book will change your perspective toward guitar and life, giving you the insight you need to set yourself on a path to better guitar.
