This book is really wonderful! Very pleasant and to the point, it definitely teaches a lesson (and not just to children). The message is simple and profound. I got the book for my four-year old, but my two teenage boys sat in while I read it aloud and have since read it again themselves. Enough said!Book Review: Amazing Children's book

This book is by far the best children's book I have ever read. It is truly amazing. Just like Three Questions, it teaches children the fundamental principles of a happy life through zen. My seven year old daughter has taken both books to heart, and asks me to buy them to give to others for birthday presents. I have also given both books to adult friends and family (particularly Zen Shorts) because the lessons learned benefit all ages. I wish Jon Muth had one hundred books like this. I would buy every one of them. (And the illustrations are beautiful too.) Book Review: One of my absolute favorites

It's wonderful to be able to introduce my love and interest in Eastern Philosophy/Zen/Buddhism to my almost 3-year-old daughter in a well written and illustrated children's book. I highly recommend it to anyone.Book Review: For The Enlightened Child

This book is all around Beautiful, from the watercolor pictures to the story content. Our 4yr old daughter doesn't have any problem understanding the ideas and stories within this story. Very refreshing and simple story. What a find this book is! Will have to research more work done by Jon J Muth and hope he puts out more like this.
