from my first discovery of this beautiful book i have given a copy to each of my children for them to read to their children. whenever i am visiting, i ask if they can read it together with their grandfather. the book is always handy, a good sign. i know the children enjoy the art work and i expect them to realize an understanding of the lessons as they grow in conceptual ability. a treasure.Book Review: This book is magic

Here is a series of Buddhist short stories interwoven into a story of children and a Panda friend they have just met. The watercolor illustrations are delightful and fun. The Zen irony is thought provoking. This is the best of the Buddhist children's books that I have found so far. I read it for me and then I share it with my little one as he is able to understand. People of other faiths would appreciate it also.

My daughter just received this book for Christmas and we have all fallen instantly in love with it. The stunning watercolors alone justify getting this book, but the story is wonderful as well. It's everything a short story should be: funny, heartwarming, and makes you think.
We are going to give this to everyone we know with children.

I purchased this book through the scholastic book orders at school. I never imagined this would be my most favorite book of all. I Love it! My kids think it is cute but I love the stories. I would rate this higher if I could. If you are thinking of purchasing this book you will not be sorry !! I don't write many reviews but I just had to find and rate this wonderful childrens book.
