Book Reviews of ZodiacBook Review: An Outstanding Book Summary: 5 Stars
This is definately in my top 10 true crime books. It is not only a fascintating story but it is presented in a way that at times gives the reader chills but also presents the facts and suspects in a law enforcement kind of way. An excellent read that will keep you up turning the pages late into the night. Definately one of the best books I have ever read.
Book Review: Bone-chilling Summary: 5 Stars
I am in the process of reading "Zodiac" and I have not been able to put it down since I started reading it. It enables me to place myself in the actual location of the victims in order to feel their horror. Exciting and fascinating, read it with the lights ON!
Book Review: Bone-chilling Summary: 5 Stars
Its one of the best true crime books I have read, you can not let go. I really recommend it.
Book Review: Chiiling...even in this "police report" writing style... Summary: 4 Stars
Full/comprehensive account of the most chilling (in my opinion) true-crime story of the 20th century. If you don't mind a writing style comparable to a Police Report, than you'll really enjoy this. I'm not a Zodiac expert (I read this after I saw an excellent "Nash Bridges" episode on a Zodiac copy-cat), but I can't imagine a more detailed analysis of those crimes and, since Graysmith was close to the action, his opinions carry weight. From what I can tell, this is the best account available of these crimes and I would recommend this book highly.
Book Review: Chilling Summary: 4 Stars
Very few true-crime books have given me such a feeling of unease as "Zodiac," which, in all honesty, had me checking the locks on my doors before I went to bed every night. The real power of this book lies not in Graysmith's fine writing, but in the word-for-word reproduction of Zodiac's taunting letters to newspapers and police. Anyone with even a passing interest in the Zodiac mystery will find this book compelling.
